Who we are

Follicere is a cosmetic scalp renewal program booked through partner hair salons, operated by Amazingly Well. It is separate from Amazingly Well Rx. This policy covers follicere.com, the scalp renewal landing pages, the client sign-up flow, and the portals used by clients, salons, sales representatives and technicians.

Information we collect

• Contact details you give us, such as your name, email, phone number and ZIP code, when you request a visit or ask about partnering.
• Survey answers about your scalp, hair and routine. Some answers describe your health, and we treat them as sensitive.
• Scalp photos taken at your visits, only if you agree to the photo release. Any face in frame is blurred.
• Booking details: your visits, technician, the salon and stylist who referred you, and your program and payment status.
• Account details if you sign in to a portal, such as your email and role.
• Information collected automatically on our public pages, described under "Cookies, analytics and visitor identification" below.

AI hair preview

If you use the AI hair preview, the photo you upload is sent to Google's Gemini service to create the preview, and the preview is shown back to you. On the public landing page we do not save the photo or the preview. We keep a one-way scrambled version of your network address to limit how many previews can be made each day. Previews are AI-simulated and are not a prediction of your results.

Cookies, analytics and visitor identification

Our public marketing pages (the home page, guides and landing pages) use:

• Google Analytics, to understand how many people visit, which pages they view and whether they send an inquiry. It uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location.
• A visitor identification pixel provided through Intent On Demand (Sales On Demand) and its data partner. It may recognize visitors and match them with contact or business information from third-party sources so we can follow up and market our program.

These tools are not used on the client sign-up survey, the portals or the sign-in pages. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.

How we use information

• To book and run your visits, and to match you with a technician and salon.
• To show you your scalp renewal score and, if you choose, an AI preview.
• To contact you about your inquiry, your visits or your account.
• To pay referral fees to the salon and stylist who referred you.
• To understand and improve our website and program, and to market our program.
• To keep our services secure and to meet legal obligations.

How we share information

• With your technician, who sees what they need for your visits, including your scalp photos.
• With the salon and stylist who referred you, who see that you signed up and your booking status. They do not see your survey answers or photos.
• With service providers who run our services for us, such as website hosting (Vercel), our database (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), Google (analytics and the AI preview) and Intent On Demand (visitor identification).
• When required by law, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.

We do not sell your survey answers or photos. Some state laws may treat the visitor identification described above as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out at any time; see Your choices.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what information we have about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing, including opting out of the sale or sharing of your information. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law. To make a request, send us a message through the form on our home page. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as we need it to run your program, pay referral fees, keep required records and resolve disputes, and then delete or de-identify it.

Security

We limit who can see sensitive information: survey answers are visible only to you and our administrators, and scalp photos also to your assigned technician. We use encrypted connections and access controls, but no system is perfectly secure.

Children

Our program and website are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

If we change this policy, we will update the date below. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
